Terms and Conditions of Furniture, gazebo Hire & inflatable dome hire

  • Definitions
    1. "The Customer" means organisation or person who purchases goods and services from the company.
    2. "The Company" means sharp art furnishing.
    3. The "Goods" are any items supplied by contract between the customer and sharp art furnishing LED hire regardless of ownership.
    4. The "Contract" is any written or verbal agreement between sharp art furnishing LED hire and the customer.
  • General
    1. These terms and conditions shall apply to all contracts for the supply of goods or services by the company to the customer.
    2. All goods remain the property of the company.
    3. The company reserve the right to substitute any items as a result of circumstances beyond its control.
    4. All goods, once signed for become the responsibility of the customer.
    5. Goods shall be delivered in good working order. Unless notice is received to the contrary as soon as reasonably possible and in any event no later than 5 hours after delivery, goods shall be deemed to be in good working order.
    6. No substitute items shall be accepted by the company.
    7. All goods must stay at the address where they were delivered to by the company for the entirety of the hire. They can not be moved to any other address.
  • Delivery & Collection
    1. Delivery and collections will be charged as agreed at the time of order.
    2. Unless a suitable lift is available deliveries and collections shall only be made to the ground floor level that has reasonable access (at the driver's discretion).
    3. The company will agree a time with the customer for delivery and collection and the customer must ensure someone is onsite to allow access to the goods.
  • Price & Payment
    1. A quote shall be submitted by the company to the customer either in writing or verbally.
    2. Payment in part or in full of any quote to supply goods and or services herein referred to shall be deemed as acceptance of these Term & Conditions.
    3. All prices are based on a 24hour hire unless stated otherwise.Longer periods shall be extra as indicated at the time of order.
    4. When placing an order a 40% non refundable deposit will be taken to reserve the goods, with the balance to be paid in full on the day of delivery.
    5. We accept payment by bank transfer and cash.
  • Your responsibilities
    1. Customers shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure the goods are not damaged or misused during the hire period.
    2. The customer shall not attempt to sell or otherwise dispose of the goods.
    3. When hiring any item from sharp art the customer will sign to confirm that all items are in good working order. The customer will take adequate and proper measures to protect the equipment from theft, damage and or risks such as adverse weather. 
    4. In extreme bad weather or strong winds, the company reserves the right to not send out the gazebo/cube/ dome and offer a full refund for the use of such item.
    5. In the event that the weather takes a turn for the worst and the wind/ rain / storm becomes too strong it's up to the customer to evacuate the inflatable and deflate immediately ensuring all electricals are taken undercover.
    6. Replacement Costs
      The Company reserves the right to charge the customer the full replacement cost of such equipment in the event that it becomes damaged, lost or stolen during the period of hire. These costs must be paid within 30 days.
      The customer is required to ensure that someone ( over 18) is at the venue at time of delivery and collection. 
      Any deliberate damage, vandalism or theft will be passed on to the police for insurance purposes.
    8. The customer will ensure the furnishings are correctly used and not misused. Seating is for sitting not for standing on.
    9. No decorations are allowed to be stuck onto the material of the dome or cube.
    10. The customer will ensure the gazebo/ cube/ dome  are clear for the time the company are scheduled to take down and collect.
    11. The gazebo, dome and cube are all strictly no smoking areas and the customer must ensure that this is adhered to at all times. The customer will ensure a designated smoking area is at least 5 metres away from the facility.
    12. The dome and cube MUST be completely clear of any person,electricals, food, drink or sharp object when it is being deflated.
      The company takes no responsibility for the the inflation or deflation of the dome or cube once they have left the property. Only the customer who has been shown by the company how to inflate and deflate the dome/ cube is responsible to do so.
      1. All electricals are pat tested after a year of use. All electrical products must be kept well away from children and water. 
      2. The 4FT LED NUMBERS can only be hired out to indoor/ undercover venues due to the material and electrical elements.
      3. The led numbers are for display purposes ONLY. They are not to be touched or used to hold drinks or any other item.
      4. Liability & Indemnity 
    1. To the fullest extent, the company shall not be liable for any losses the customer may incur arising out of or in connection with the hire of goods.
    2. The company are NOT liable for any trip, fall or injury that may occur when hiring out all or any of the equipment supplied by sharp art furnishing led hire. All safety measures are put in to place to ensure the safety of the customers. 
  • Termination of Hire
    1. The company reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately and repossess the goods at any time where the customer is in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
    2. Where provision of clause 7.1 applies you the customer authorise the company to enter any property where the goods are being used in order to repossess such goods.
  • Notes
    1. Please note these terms and conditions do not affect the customer's statutory rights as a consumer. We do not share your personal details. All information is confidential and is not passed on to any third party. We only collect the information we need such as name, address, contact number, email address, payment details and type of occasion.
